Greenwich property-casualty insurer W. R. Berkley Corp. promoted inhouse counsel Steven J. Malawer to vice president–senior counsel for international operations, effective immediately.
Malawer joined Berkley in 1995, serving most recently as attorney and as vice president–associate general counsel and assistant secretary of Berkley International LLC.
He received a B.A. in political science from the University of Michigan and a law degree from Hofstra University School of Law.
