For the second time in days, a Connecticut CPA firm has announced a merger with an out-of-state rival.
West Hartford’s KPS & Co. LLC Certified Public Accountants & Consultants said Thursday it merged its accounting and tax practice with of Alan M. Gould & Co. of West Palm Beach, Fla., effective Jan. 1.
Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
Alan Gould is now a partner in the merged firm’s West Palm Beach office, now under the KPS brand. KPS, founded in 1982, also has a Wallingford office.
On Tuesday, Connecticut regional accounting firm BlumShapiro announced it absorbed Providence CPA firm Sullivan & Co., a deal BlumShapiro claims makes it one of the biggest CPA firms in America.
