W. Haven’s Hampton Inn & Suites sold

The Hampton Inn & Suites on Sawmill Road in West Haven is under new ownership.

The acquisition represents a return to the Connecticut marketplace for MCR. It previously owned Milford’s Hilton Garden Inn, but sold the property last year to American Hotel Income Properties, a Vancouver, B.C.-based real estate investment trust, according to the New Haven Register.

MCR has ownership stakes in hospitality properties housing more than 11,000 rooms in 67 cities.
