Voya hires CFO to oversee $200B investment management biz

Voya Financial, which has significant Windsor operations, said it has hired Michael A. Bell as chief financial officer of its $200 billion Voya Investment Management business.

Bell has worked in various roles for The Hartford Financial Services Group since 2002, most recently as CFO of its asset management business. Prior to that, he worked for 10 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

In his new role, he will report to Voya Financial’s CFO Ewout L. Steenbergen.

Bell succeeds Daniel Wilcox, who is retiring at the end of the year after more than 30 years with Voya, formerly ING U.S.
