Volunteers work at girl scouts camp

More than 70 Hamilton Sundstrand employees volunteered at the Girl Scouts of Connecticut’s Camp Merriwood in Manchester Sept. 10 as part of the United Way’s Day of Caring. The team installed wooden trail stairs, painted benches and performed a general camp cleanup. Across Connecticut and Massachusetts, approximately 235 Hamilton Sundstrand employees worked at nine locations doing tasks, including repairing wheelchairs and planting vegetables at a community farm.
