The country’s second largest solar installer has made its move into Connecticut.
Utah-based Vivint Solar announced it will open new offices in New Haven and Stamford, its first foray into the Connecticut market. It follows several other solar installers who have made the move into Connecticut since solar-friendly legislation passed in 2011, including the nation’s largest installer, California-based Solar City, and third largest installer, Colorado-based Real Goods Solar.
The move into Connecticut that is part of a larger expansion by Vivint, which is also opening offices in Las Vegas and Albuquerque, N.M.
