Hartford asset manager Virtus Investment Partners said it will pay a quarterly cash dividend of 45 cents per share on Aug. 14 to shareholders of record as of July 31.
It will be the first dividend Virtus has paid since it’s spinoff from Phoenix Life Insurance Co. in 2009.
CEO George Aylward said in a statement that the dividend is part of a new long-term capital strategy driven by the company’s growth and cash flow from operations.
