Virtus Investment Partners posted a 77 percent gain in third-quarter net income amid strong sales and inflows for the Hartford wealth-manager’s products and services.
For three months ended Sept. 30, Virtus netted $37.3 million, or $4.02 a diluted share, up from $21.1 million, or $2.56 a share, netted the same quarter last year.
Third-quarter revenue rose 17 percent to $117 million vs. $100 million a year ago.
Virtus’ average assets under management in the latest quarter were $61.8 billion vs. $54 billion a year earlier.
