Stamford retail electricity supplier Viridian Energy has expanded its service in Washington, D.C. and Delaware, seeking to take advantage of competitive markets there.
Viridian now operates in eight states and Washington, D.C. with more than 200,000 customers in Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Delaware.
As a retail electricity supplier, Viridian offers alternative rates and electricity packages to ratepayers other than what utilities provide.
The company hopes to use its latest expansion to further drive revenue and customer growth.
