The end will be a new beginning for Vinted Wine Bar & Kitchen in West Hartford. Vinted’s founders, Ralph Santaniello and Michael Presnal, announced on Tuesday that the restaurant, located at 63 Memorial Road in West Hartford’s Blue Back Square, will officially close later this summer to make way for a “new concept under new ownership.”

Vinted’s founders, Ralph Santaniello and Michael Presnal, announced on Tuesday that the restaurant, located at 63 Memorial Road in West Hartford’s Blue Back Square, will officially close later this summer to make way for a “new concept under new ownership.”
Opened in 2012, Vinted became known for offering 60 different glasses of wine while specializing in small plates, tapas, meat and cheese plates and elegant dishes.
Santaniello and Presnal did not specify who the new owners will be or what new concept will replace Vinted.
“While it’s bittersweet to close this chapter, we’re excited for what’s ahead,” Santaniello said.
Officials with Blue Back Square also did not say who the new owners will be. They did say the Vinted space will undergo “a full transformation before reopening with a fresh new look, a reimagined menu, and new ownership” that will coincide with “all the other improvements being made at Blue Back Square.”
Vinted is the second wine bar to close in West Hartford Center in a month.
Crush Wine Bar, owned by Springfield, Massachusetts-based Bean Restaurant Group, closed in July at 37 LaSalle Road.
