Bloomfield green chemical firm VeruTEK Technologies, Inc. reports results from the field use of its oil and gas products have improved production up to 700 percent.
VeruTEK’s ProBoost product enables oil mining companies to access heavy oil deposits while using special organic products that don’t add pollution to the extraction projects. More than 60 percent of oil resources worldwide are heavy oil, but only 5 percent of that is being produced because of the challenges surrounding it.
Houston energy firm New Horizons Exploration, Inc. noted that ProBoost increased production of oil in a Trinidad field operation by more than 700 percent. In a separate location, ProBoost increased oil production in a Kansas formation more than 500 percent.
ProBoost has been used in 20 oil fields and 12 formations worldwide since it was introduced in late 2011.
