A Vernon shopping center anchored by ShopRite has sold for $62.5 million.
Real estate brokerage CBRE announced that Tri-City Plaza, a 295,817-square-foot retail center located at 35 Talcottville Road, was acquired by East Coast Acquisitions, a Tampa, Florida-based real estate investment firm.
According to its website, East Coast Acquisitions also owns a shopping center in Groton.
CBRE said it represented sellers DLC and Acadia Realty Trust in the transaction and also procured the buyer.
The property is 96% leased and is anchored by ShopRite, TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, HomeSense and Hartford HealthCare. According to CBRE, ownership completed approximately 130,000 square feet of leasing activity at the center over the past five years.
Financial terms beyond the sale price were not disclosed.
