Vernon manufacturing building sells to Illinois holding company for $1.7M

A 37,000-square-foot manufacturing building on 5.2 acres in Vernon sold for $1.7 million in November.

The 1986-vintage building at 129 Reservoir Road has headquartered aerospace subcontracting manufacturer Soldream. Attempts to reach the company were unsuccessful.

Jaroslaw and Jadwiga Kalecinski, of Ellington – who are also principals of Soldream –  sold the building to Delaware-based Rockville Technology 129 Reservoir LLC through a deed that was recorded by the town on Nov. 16.

Documents filed with the Vernon Town Clerk’s office list a Northbrook, Illinois address for the buyer.

That address is shared by Hilco Global, an international holding company.  The company can “leverage a unique blend of deep restructuring and advisory experience in combination with capital solutions and principal investing” through its merchant banking capabilities, according to its website.

Hilco Commercial Industrial LLC is principal of Rockville Technology LLC, a company that formed on Nov. 30 and is headquartered at the recently sold property at 129 Reservoir Road, according to state business records.
