VERIZON EARNS KUDOS FOR TREATMENT OF DISABLED WORKERS

Verizon Wireless was named “Large Business Employer of the Year” at Connecticut Board of Education and Services of the Blind’s 25th anniversary celebration held at the state Capitol. The award was given to Verizon Wireless for the company’s commitment to creating adaptive work stations for employees with disabilities. Verizon employee Jason Barone nominated the company.
