Cannabis company Verano will open its seventh Connecticut dispensary in Enfield this Friday.
Zen Leaf Enfield, at 98 Elm St., will also feature a drive-thru option.
The location is adjacent to the Enfield Square Mall, which the town is readying for a $250 million facelift, including new retail spaces, a hotel and a residential development.
Verano says it is still actively hiring for the new store. It says the Friday grand opening event will feature several discount specials on its products.
The company now operates some 157 dispensaries across 13 states. It also has a 217,000 square-foot cultivation facility in Rocky Hill. Its most recent opening in Connecticut came just last month as it debuted Zen Leaf Ashford, the closest dispensary to UConn’s Storrs campus. It also has retail locations in Norwich, Meriden, Newington, Naugatuck and Waterbury.
