Investors from Farmington and Southington have purchased a recently shuttered Webster Bank branch in West Hartford.
The buyer, D&D Park Rd LLC, acquired the 2,400-square-foot brick exterior building for $392,500 on June 30, according to land records, and the group’s attorney, Michael Reiner, said Tuesday that they plan to seek a bank or credit union to lease the space.
“It has one of only drive-through locations in West Hartford and Park Road is and should remain a very heavily trafficked location for cars, pedestrians and neighborhood people,” Reiner said.
Webster announced in December that it would close the longtime branch along with four others in the Hartford area and 16 total statewide.
D&D’s principals include Simone DelBuono of Southington, who has invested in restaurants in Southington and Watertown, and Jacob and Sara Reiner of Farmington, who together lead Rhino Real Estate Investors LLC based in Farmington.
