Hartford industrial giant United Technologies Corp. has rebundled its various global fire and security operations under the Chubb brand.
In the U.S., its Detection Logic, Fire Systems Inc., Florida State Fire and Security and Red Hawk affiliates, are now known as Chubb, a UTC Fire & Security Co.
“Centralizing the service businesses in the U.S. aligns with UTC Fire & Security’s long term global strategy,” said Sean Flint, president of UTC Fire & Security’s services business in the Americas.
Other UTC businesses that will combine under the Chubb brand include Antronnix, CalProtection, Diversified Fire Products, HFP Corp., Lane Fire & Safety, Pratt Landry Associates, John W. Polhemus, and Vantronics Security Systems.
Chubb recently sold its manned guarding business in the United Kingdom to Swedish firm Securitas AB.
