UTC Supports Greater Hartford Legal Aid

United Technologies Corp. (UTC) and its Connecticut-based attorneys recently contributed more than $95,000 to Greater Hartford Legal Aid (GHLA), a not-for-profit law firm that provides clients living in poverty with free representation for civil legal issues. UTC’s contribution represents 23 percent of the dollars raised during GHLA’s recent fundraising campaign, and was the single largest corporate contribution. Since 2004, UTC and its attorneys have contributed nearly $350,000 to support GHLA’s activities. The 2009 UTC legal aid fundraising campaign co-chairs present a check to Greater Hartford Legal Aid.
