UTC Aerospace Systems said it has won a contract from Taiwan’s China Airlines to supply wheels and carbon brakes for a fleet of 14 Airbus planes.
The United Technologies subsidiary will make the equipment for the A350-900 aircraft in its facility in Troy, Ohio. China Airlines will start receiving the planes in 2016.
UTC did not disclose the value of the contract.
