UTC hosts Family Festivals at Hartford public schools

United Technologies Corp. and its employees recently hosted Back to School Family Festivals as part of its Year of Caring activities in support of United Way. More than 160 UTC employees provided 1,500 books, arts, crafts and games, as well as meals to students and their families at three United Way supported Community Schools in Hartford – the Burns Latino Studies Academy/COMPASS Youth Collaborative, Dwight-Bellizzi Asian Studies Academy/COMPASS Youth Collaborative and Alfred E. Burr School/The Village for Families and Children.
