Hartford aerospace manufacturer United Technologies Corp. told analysts and investors Thursday that it expects 2014 earnings per share to increase by 7 percent or more compared to this year.
The company predicts earnings per share of between $6.55 and $6.85, up from between $6.10 and $6.15 this year.
UTC is predicting $64 billion in sales for next year, up from $63 billion.
CEO Louis Chenevert said in a statement that the company has grown earnings by 15 percent this year, “even in the face of a challenging macroeconomic environment.”
“With solid orders momentum exiting the year, we expect further acceleration in 2014 across the majority of our businesses,” he said.
