Charlotte, N.C.’s UTC Aerospace Systems, a division of Farmington-based United Technologies Corp., has agreed to partner with VAS Aero Services, to supply parts to meet growing customer demand, the company announced Thursday.
VAS Aero Services’ inventory of in-demand parts are expected to translate to cost savings and improved efficiencies for customers of UTC Aerospace Systems, which designs, manufactures and services systems and components for the aerospace and defense industries, said Ajay Agrawal, vice president, aftermarket, UTC Aerospace Systems.
Both companies have a global footprint with warehouses and distribution centers strategically positioned close to customers, allowing for quick turnaround and timely delivery of parts, added Agrawal and Tommy Hughes, CEO, VAS Aero Services
