UTC declares common dividend

United Technologies Corp. in Hartford declared a dividend of 42.5 cents a share to be paid Sept. 10 to common stockholders of record as of Aug. 18.

UTC says it has paid cash dividends on its common stock for 74 consecutive years dating to 1936.
