Sikorsky Aircraft volunteers, families and friends, including Sikorsky President Mick Maurer, standing in back at left, celebrate at the opening ceremonies of the Special Olympics Connecticut Summer Games held June 7 at Southern Connecticut State University. More than 600 UTC employees supported the Summer Games’ track and field events. For the 36th year, UTC volunteers served as coaches, field judges and award presenters for the athletes during the two-day competition.
