Three subsidiaries of Hartford conglomerate United Technologies Corp. were awarded contracts totaling $205 million from the U.S. Department of Defense on Friday.
Sikorsky Support Services of Stratford won $110.8 million for maintenance and logistics support for a variety of U.S. Navy aircraft. The work will be performed mostly in Texas and Florida.
Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. of Stratford won a $86.8 million contract for two additional anti-submaine warfare aircraft for Brazil under the Foreign Military Sales program. The work will be split between Stratford, Florida, and Alabama.
Hamilton Sundstrand Corp. of Illinois won $7.4 million for the repair of 118 frequency generators in the V-22 Osprey helicopter for the U.S. Navy. The work will be performed in Illinois.
