A nurse-education sanctioning body has accredited a pair of graduate nursing programs at West Hartford’s University of St. Joseph.
The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education in Washington D.C. awarded its five-year accreditation to USJ’s doctor of nursing practice and its advanced practice registered nursing (APRN) certificate for psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners.
“Meeting CCNE standards and receiving accreditation reflects the high caliber of the university’s nursing programs,” said Patricia Morgan, associate dean and chair of the nursing department.
USJ offers multiple undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral nursing degrees.
