USI Consulting Group in Glastonbury has promoted Michael Welz to president and chief investment officer of USI Advisors.
Welz’s previous titles were vice president and senior investment consultant.
In his new role, he will oversee the development and execution of investment policies, market research, due diligence and portfolio management strategies for USI Advisors.
He also chairs the company’s investment committee.
USI provides benefit consulting and administration services.
