Longtime community banker John R. Ursone will retire from his post as president and chief executive officer of Northwest Community Bank at the end of the year.
Ursone joined the mutually-owned bank based in Winsted in 1994 as senior vice president and chief loan officer, and became executive vice president and chief operating office in 2005.
He was named to his current position in January 2006.
His last day in office will be Dec. 31.
Stephen P. Reilly, the bank’s current executive vice president and chief operating officer will replace Ursone beginning Jan. 1.
Reilly has been with the bank since 1996, when he started as a commercial loan officer.
Prior to joining Northwest Community Bank, Reilly was employed by Union Trust Company and was a partner in his own property management company.
