The Urban League of Greater Hartford’s Youth Achievement Program has been selected as one of 47 funding recipients nationwide in AT&T’s Aspire program and will receive a $210,000 grant. Applicants were evaluated based on their accomplishments in serving students at risk of dropping out of high school and their ability to use data to demonstrate the effectiveness of their work. AT&T’s contribution will enable the Youth Achievement Program to provide dropout prevention services, over a two-year period, to an additional 35 Hartford Public High School 9th and 10th grade students.
