University of Saint Joseph Holds Gala, Unveils Name Change

The “Imagine … the Sky’s the Limit” gala celebrating women in the sciences, as well as St. Joseph College officially becoming the University of St. Joseph, drew more than 700 people to the Connecticut Convention Center in downtown Hartford recently. E. Clayton (Skip) Gengras, Jr., CEO of Gengras Motor Cars, Inc. and a member of the university’s board of trustees, was honored at the event. Highlighting the evening was a musical performance by Broadway stage, film and television actor Brian Stokes Mitchell.
