The University of Bridgeport has named William Guerrero to serve as its vice president of finance and chief financial officer.
Guerrero will be responsible for managing the financial stability of the university, and he will report directly to President Danielle Wilken.
Guerrero has more than two decades of financial leadership in higher education, and he most recently worked for Springfield College in Springfield, Mass., where he served as vice president for finance and administration. He previously had finance roles at Ithaca College and Albertus Magnus College.
“I look forward to joining the leadership team to help UB achieve its financial and operational goals,” Guerrero said.
