Univ. of St. Joseph adds 8 trustees

The University of St. Joseph in West Hartford added eight new members to its board of trustees.

Their terms began July 1, and they bring the total number of trustees to 28:

• Elizabeth C. Barton, a partner with Day Pitney LLP, who has 20+ years of experience in environmental and land use consultation, permitting, and litigation.

• Gregory A. Boyko, the retired chairman and CEO of Hartford Life Insurance International Ltd., and honorary consul general of Japan.

• Suzanne Deliee, RSM, a community health nurse at the Little Sisters of the Assumption Family Health Service in East Harlem, N.Y.

• Martha S. Gervasi, executive vice president of human resources at The Hartford.

• Rob King, senior vice president of editorial, print, and digital media at ESPN, where he oversees the editorial direction of ESPN’s digital and print properties.

• Jenny Niemann, CEO of Red Thread, a Steelcase regional dealership that strives to deliver innovative workplace environments.

• Elizabeth “Beth” Rubino, president of Ultimate Nutrition Inc., a nutrition supplement company founded in 1979

• Joseph J. Spalluto, retired group head, fixed income for investment bank Keefe, Bruyette & Woods.
