UnitedHealthcare and several of Sesame Street’s popular children’s TV characters are teaming up to promote healthy habits among American youths.
Big Bird, Bert, Ernie and Grover, among other Sesame Street characters, will headline the bilingual A is for Asthma awareness and Lead Away! lead-poisoning prevention programs.
These newly updated programs are designed to help children and their families learn about these health issues and promote positive healthy habits.
Both initiatives are part of UnitedHealthcare’s multiyear partnership with Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit behind Sesame Street.
Program materials, including videos, activity sheets and a newsletter that feature Sesame Street characters, are available in English and Spanish at sesamestreet.org/asthma.
