Minnesota’s UnitedHealth Group, which has major Hartford operations, announced today it is adding 600 new jobs in North Carolina.
The new jobs include customer service representatives, claims processers, nurses and clinicians and are being offered in UnitedHealthcare’s health benefits business and Optum’s health services business.
The majority of the newly created jobs are in the company’s Greensboro office.
Currently, UnitedHealth Group employs more than 4,000 North Carolinians.
