United Way Power of the Purse event raises more than $180K

More than 800 guests recently filled the Connecticut Convention Center for United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut’s Women’s Leadership Council Power of the Purse luncheon and silent auction. The event raised more than $180,000 with funds going to support family financial security efforts in the Greater Hartford area. TD Bank served as title sponsor for the event.
