Oswald “Ozzy” Obando was promoted to vice president, commercial banking, and Brendan Theroux was bumped up to assistant vice president, commercial banking officer at United Bank in Hartford.
Obando previously held the title of assistant vice president and risk officer/portfolio manager on the bank’s syndicated loan team. He will now be responsible for growing the bank’s commercial and industrial lending portfolio.
Theroux previously worked as a commercial bank analyst at Berkshire Bank in Hartford. He’s a graduate of the Connecticut School of Finance & Management and a member of the MetroHartford Alliance’s Hartford Young Professionals & Entrepreneurs
