Glastonbury lender United Bank has hired Craig W. Hurty as executive vice president and chief human resources officer.
Hurty will oversee HR functions at the growing bank, which recently merged with Rockville Bank and kept the United name.
He joins United after 10 years at Aetna, most recently as vice president of HR shared services.
Earlier in his career, Hurty worked in executive search and compensation consulting for KPMG Peat Marwick and in sales for Northwestern Mutual Life.
