Union Savings names longtime banker to executive role

Allison Knapp recently joined Danbury-based Union Savings Bank as vice president and senior commercial lender. 

Knapp, a Milford resident, will be responsible for developing and handling commercial real estate and business loan transactions throughout Connecticut and Westchester County.

Knapp has over 25 years of experience in business, real estate, construction and syndicated lending. Prior to joining USB, Knapp served as senior vice president and producing team leader at Fairfield County Bank in Fairfield, as well as senior commercial lender and vice president at Hudson United Bank in New Jersey.

Peter Maher, executive vice president, chief lending officer for Union Savings, said Knapp will help the bank provide a variety of products and services to current and prospective business customers throughout the region.
