Union Savings Bank picks new business banking VP

Joseph Vereline has joined Danbury-based Union Savings Bank as vice president, head of business banking.

Vereline, a Fairfield resident, will develop, manage and oversee all aspects of business banking including lending, deposit services and cross-selling activities. 

Vereline brings more than 12 years of experience in the industry, having previously worked at Affinity Federal Credit Union and Bank of America.

Marlene Piche, SVP branch and business banking, said Vereline has a “proven track record of building new business.”

Vereline will work with Piche on new business banking initiatives designed to eliminate barriers to small business owners, streamline the process of obtaining a loan or line of credit and give customers greater flexibility and access to funding.

Snowden Lane Partners expands Connecticut team

Snowden Lane Partners, a wealth advisory firm, said Robert Bowman has been promoted to senior partner and managing director.

Bowman was previously a private wealth advisor with the firm’s Sound Advisory Group.

Bowman will remain based in the firm’s New Haven office. 

The Sound Advisory Group added Brian Weyrauch as a client relationship manager to accommodate its growth. Weyrauch will work to deliver wealth management strategies and solutions for high-net-worth individuals and families.
