Union Savings Bank names new business banking officer

Danbury-based Union Savings Bank announced recently that Liz Kaplan-Weber has joined the bank as vice president, business banking officer.

Kaplan-Weber, a Middletown resident, is responsible for business development, commercial lending and financial analysis in her new role. She is based at the bank’s office at 406 Main St., Southbury.

Kaplan-Weber’s background includes more than nine years in the banking industry.

Most recently, she was an assistant vice president, business banking relationship manager at Citizens Bank. Before that, she had multiple roles at Wells Fargo.

Coastal Bridge Advisors hires marketing leader

Coastal Bridge Advisors, an investment advising firm, recently added Deirdre Childs as its director of marketing.

The firm has offices in Westport and in Los Angeles.

Childs has a 17-year career in marketing and business development, and she has done work with brands such as Dove, Broadridge, Patagonia and Pepsi. She recently spent a decade at a financial advisory and wealth management firm.

At Coastal Bridge, she will support the firm’s client engagement, business development and branding activities.

Chelsea Groton Bank promotes loan officer

Lauren Vincent has recently been promoted to assistant secretary, small business loan officer at Groton-based Chelsea Groton Bank. 

Vincent, a Stonington resident, will work to develop small-business loan relationships across the bank’s market area.

Most recently, Vincent had been a commercial portfolio administrator with the bank.

Previously, she worked as a commercial credit manager at Charter Oak Federal Credit Union.
