Unemployment Insurance 101

More than 50 area employers received a first-hand explanation of the process used to determine a former employee’s eligibility to collect unemployment insurance benefits during a workshop sponsored by the state Department of Labor’s Office of Program Policy. The session, held at the agency’s Wethersfield office, was part of program policy’s winter employer seminar series.
