Employers in Connecticut and nationwide have until Wednesday to respond to the Penagon’s survey covering their efforts to hire and retain America’s citizen warriors.
The Defense Department says it randomly mailed some 80,000 surveys to U.S. employers to gain insight into the benefits and challenges of employing members of the Guard and Reserve, who comprise nearly half the nation’s warrior force.Â
Defense Under Secretary Clifford Stanley says employers’ feedback will be used to shape the future course of the Pentagon’s recruiting, retention and deployment strategies.
The deadline for written survey responses expired Thursday, so other survey participants should visit ESGR.mil and click on the survey link to provide their feedback on employing members of the Guard and Reserve by the July 6 deadline.
Employers who believe they received the survey, but need assistance should visit www.ESGR.mil to learn how they can participate.
