University of Hartford’s Barney School of Business has been reaccredited for another decade by one of the world’s leading sanctioning bodies for business schools.
Barney was one of 47 U.S. business schools whose curricula was declared fit to receive the seal of approval from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International.
According to AACSB’s Web site, six other Connecticut colleges and universities bear its accreditation — Â UConn, Fairfield University, Quinnipiac University, Sacred Heart University, The Coast Guard Academy and Yale University.
Barney, which first earned AACSB accreditation in 2000, is one of seven schools and colleges within the University of Hartford. It offers six undergraduate majors and two graduate degree programs in business.
Current enrollment is 656 undergraduates and 482 graduate students.
