The University of Hartford’s Barney School of Business is launching a new Summer Business Institute this year that earns participants three college credits.
The two-week program will give high school students the opportunity to earn college credits by taking classes with the Barney School’s faculty from July 30 to August 11.
The institute aims to attract highly motivated high school juniors and seniors, who will spend two weeks taking courses, living on campus, meeting alumni and fostering relationships. They will be exposed to real-life business classes with resident faculty.
The college credits earned are applicable to the Barney School, and can also be transferred to other colleges and universities.
The Barney School is ranked by Bloomberg Businessweek as one of the Best Business Schools 2016, and by the Princeton Review as one of the Best 295 Business Schools.
