General Electric Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Immelt will be a keynote speaker during UConn’s May commencement weekend, and will receive an honorary degree from the state’s flagship university.
Immelt will speak Saturday, May 11, at the graduate school ceremonies in Gampel Pavilion on UConn’s Storrs campus.
In addition, Connecticut’s beloved author Wally Lamb will collect an honorary degree.
