Four out of every five UConn graduates are established in jobs within a few months of graduating or are continuing their education, new data from the university’s Center for Career Development shows.
The center recently found through post-graduate surveys and other reviews that 80 percent of undergraduates were employed or in higher education within four months of graduating. Smaller numbers were also participating in social-service activities or serving in the U.S. Armed Forces, the center reported Thursday.
In an infographic, results show 58 percent of students with jobs, 18 percent continuing their education, less than 1 percent in the military, 1 percent in social services and 2 percent neither seeking employment or continued education.
More than 52 percent of undergraduates report using the center to assist in their career or postgraduate efforts.
