A new dormitory has opened for the fall semester on the main UConn Storrs campus.
The 257,000-square-foot, $205 million project was funded primarily through the NextGen CT program and supplemented by University revenue bonds.

The seven-floor, 656-bed Connecticut Hall sits at the corner of Gilbert and Mason roads on the South Campus. It features suite-style rooms for upper-division students in the UConn Honors Program, the Nursing Learning Community, and the Wellness Community.
The first floor has a game room, community living room, outdoor seating, group workspaces and a 500-seat dining hall overlooking Mirror Lake.
