UConn Health said it has formed a clinical collaboration with Duke University to co-manage the Farmington provider’s brain tumor patients.
As part of the collaboration, UConn Health brain tumor patients will be able to access to specialized treatments from Duke’s Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center (PRTBTC) in North Carolina.
Under the relationship, brain tumor services would be provided by the team of Dr. Ketan R. Bulsara, UConn Health’s chief of neurosurgery, with evaluation for additional treatments by Dr. Henry S. Friedman’s team at Duke’s PRTBTC.
