UConn dean in race to head Purdue school

Christopher Earley, dean of the University of Connecticut School of Business, is one of four finalists to run Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management, Purdue’s school newspaper reports.

According to the Purdue Exponent, the other three are: Rajiv Dewan, senior associate dean for faculty and research for the William E. Simon graduate school at the University of Rochester; John Birge, professor of operations management at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business; and Michael Mikhail, professor and director at Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business.

All four are expected to be on the West Lafayette, Ind., campus for interviews in the next few months.
