UConn’s graduate program in Business Analytics and Project Management has been ranked the 25th best big data graduate program in the United States.
The ranking comes from Value Colleges, which bills itself as an independent online guide to the best values in undergraduate and graduate college education. The learning institutions on the list are ranked based on their cost and return on investment from the degree.
Value Colleges also said Central Connecticut State University has a top 50 best value online big data graduate program along with Fairfield University.
Value Colleges said the UConn program, offered at the West Hartford campus, is designed from a STEM perspective to prepare students for leadership in big data and data analytics, with a strong reputation in New England to launch graduates into their careers.
The top 3 best values for 2016 are Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Penn., followed by Stanford University in Stanford, Calif., and Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, Calif.
